Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Cayrs one year ago.

The Birthday Girl!

Broderick singing happy birthday to Carys.

Today Carys is one! It seems very crazy to me. I always feel like when they turn one they aren't really a baby anymore. And since Carys could be my last, it makes me a little sad. Today is a day of celebration though. I am so thankful God blessed our family with such a sweet baby girl. We have a full day of fun planned for her, she won't know the difference, but it will be fun for Broderick if nothing else.

Happy Birthday Carys!

A few new pics

Happy Birthday to Me! I celebrated my 26th birthday on tuesday. Everyone made it very special for me. On Monday my sister, mom and I went shopping (my sister bought me this bathing suit I had my eye on all season. Thanks Kel!!), out to lunch and to the pool. It was very fun. On Tuesday Jenny watched my kids in the morning and I went shopping by myself (that was a gift all by itself, but the fun was not over!), then she had a special lunch for me. It was a great morning and afternoon. While the kids took naps I watched a movie. Carrie and Natasha dropped gifts off to me. Which was so nice and thoughtful. Then when Rob got home he brought me flowers a cake and took us all out to eat. Thank you everyone who made my day special.

A couple of days ago I went in to get Carys from her nap and this is what I found. I guess she was bored and trying to undress herself. She is such a funny girl!

We took the kids to the Cincy Museum Center last night. (They have free Fridays all through the summer. Check it out... www.Cincymuseum.org) It was very fun. Broderick of course enjoyed seeing the few dinos they have and the trains. Carys didn't really know what to think of all the craziness. It was a great night with the family!

I wish I had a picture of this!!!

Today we went to the pool with my sister and mom. Kyler, my nephew is like a fish and he loves jumping off the diving board. So after he did it, I asked Broderick if he wanted to, thinking he would say no, but he wanted to. The lifeguard caught him and I went up on the board with him. I pretty much just dropped him off. He did it 2x. I can't wait to go back with my camera so I can post a picture. I am so mad I didn't have my camera with me! We have been to the pool like 3x and I still don't have a picture of Carys in the water. (Which by the way, she loves it!) Second kid, ya know. We have about 50 pictures of Broderick in the water. Hopefully next time I will have pictures of them swimming!

A whole lotta MOJO!

Last night Jenny and I took Rob and Ben out for Father's day. We went to Montgomery Inn for dinner, walked around Kenwood for a little while, had dessert at the Cheesecake factory, and wrapped up the night at our house with a movie. Yes...you guessed it, I didn't make it through the movie. I took a little cat nap and then woke up at the end. I had a second wind! We had great time! We always have fun out with Jenny and Ben though! Nothing left to say about the evening, oh...except....WORD!

I also want to say Happy Father's day to all you dad's! I know being a mom is a hard job, because I am one, but I can only imagine the pressure of being a dad! I know my husband does a fabulous job. I thank God that he has blessed me with a man who loves Him, me, and our family. He works hard to provide financially and spiritually for us. I am also very thankful my dad who I know loves me very much! S0...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Summer has begun!

We have been busy so far this summer with the sunshine and warm weather. The kids have been loving doing so much outside! On Saturday we went to the conservatory, because they were having a Butterfly show. It was really neat. Broderick enjoyed spotting the butterflies and then finding them on the paper. He didn't love this one on his shirt at first, but then he changed his mind.

Carys really loved the butterflies, she was all ready to hold one and touch it. She cracks me up!We went to the spray park yesterday and if she could walk she would have been going right in the water, I kept having to move her back, because I didn't want to get wet.

We also went to a new park. Here is a great picture of my little sweethearts. You can't tell Broderick loves his sister can you?
