Yes, I am still alive!

It seems like a lot has happened since I last posted, since it has been forever. I will see what I can remember and hopefully fill you all in.
Carys has begun to do the army crawl. Still alittle slow, but fast enough. Just within the last couple of days she has been working on crawling on all fours. She is real slow and uneasy, but she is getting it. She has also gotten two teeth on the bottom, and she is working in th top 2.
Broderick, I am proud to say has passed over into "big boy world." He wears underware! Thankfully this potty training process wasn't as grueling as I thought it would be. Now he can even go to the bathroom by himself, which is a big help. I see him becoming more and more independant each week. Sad, but good all at the same time.
Rob has enjoyed being back doing yard work. It takes a lot of time, but I really think Rob enjoys it. (I mean as much as you can.) He just recently went on a business trip that went really well. He had a great talk with the owner of his company and I could tell he was very encouraged. He said, "you know Amy, sometimes I feel like I just go to work and I am not really sure what I am doing. Like, things just get done." I thought...That is just God using him and working through him. Rob is extremely good at what he does, and I truely beleive it is a gift from the Lord.
Suprisingly, I have some news about myself as well. (no, I am not pregnant!) I cut off all my hair! I just had this urge to make a change. It had been down to about the middle of my back and now it is to my chin. I had enough to give to Locks of Love, so I told my sister to just chop it off. I really like it and feel like I lost about 5 lbs. It is a fun cut for the summer.
I think that about sums up our crazy lives. We have just been so busy with the day to day stuff! I feel like I write that everytime!

The ways God works

Yesterday morning I was getting ready to leave to go shopping with a friend. I was busy moving carseats and cleaning out the van. Well...I was already to go and I told Broderick to feed our dog, Zaccheaus. Broderick came back out in the garage and told me he couldn't find the dog. I thought, "Oh crap, he ran away." I went into panic mode. I got the kids in the car and drove around for like 20 minutes to look for him. I called the police department to see if they had him. The police officer said no they didn't. So, I decided to go ahead and go shopping. On my way back from the outlet mall, I called the police station again. The same officer answered the phone and asked, "Is this about the welsh corgi?" I said yes. He asked were we lived and I told him. He said, "you are not going to believe this, but we live right around the corner and my wife has your dog!" Isn't that amazing!!! Of all the people that could have had my dog and all the people at the police station that could of answered the phone. It makes me think that God cared enough to answer my prayers about my lost dog, how much more does he care to answer my prayers about the salvation of my kids! He is so amazing!

I also posted some pics of Broderick jumping in puddles before it turned to winter again! It is amazing how much fun playing in puddles can be for a little boy. It is the simple things Broderick enjoys....jumping in puddles, pretending sticks are fishing poles, throwing rocks in a pond. He is something!
