MONSTER Trucks

Rob and I took Broderick out for a special day a few days ago. He got a monster truck game for his Nintendo DS at Christmas and since then he has been into them. So Rob, being the creative dad that he is, thought it would be fun to take him to a show. We hardly ever tell the kids where we are are going if it is a place for them. It is always a "surprise." So Broderick had no idea that we were going. When we got there and he saw the monster trucks he lost it! The coolest part was, that before the show started we could walk down on the dirt and see the trucks and meet the drivers. Of course Broderick thought that was so cool!!! The show was really fun and I think this was the best surprise to date.
Rob and Broderick trying to get a t-shirt.
The famous Big Foot. Which I thought would be Broderick favorite. He like the Transaurus the best. That is this big dino machine that comes out and eats a car. (We couldn't take our good camera in, so we didn't get any good pictures of that.)
Us posing with the trucks and drivers.
We had a great time out with just Broderick. Things were very quite, until we got to the show of course. Carys had a special night with Grandma and Grandpa. She really enjoyed it. They took her to see a movie, painted nails, had a tea party, played babies and all sorts of other "girly" things. Rob and I are already planning a special night out for her. Broderick is already talking about his special night with Grandma and Grandpa or Kyler!!!
