First Day of School

Broderick had his first day of preschool today. I was a little nervous and the closer we got the more I had to fight back tears. As I walked him in, I started to well up, but told myself, I needed to keep it together. He walked right into his class and started playing. I spoke to his teacher for a few moments and then left. After school, Rob and I took him out to lunch and talked about the day. He seemed to really like it and is excited about going back. Here are some pics.

VACATION!!!!

We just returned home from the beach yesterday and we had a great time. Here are just a few pictures of our trip.




This picture with the rake floating away in the background is a good reminder of what happen next... After Rob got done taking the picture Broderick ran off to get the rake, he bent down looked at me and then a wave came and took him under. He was a good sport about it and kept swimming.





This is a picture of a sand castle Broderick and I made. He had fun just sitting in the hole.














I love these two pictures of the kids. They had such a wonderful time at the beach.

More than Me

I have been reading other people's blogs and hearing stories of people that truly have had hardships in their families. I have created a new link for a woman named Heather. She is a woman suffering of cancer, but she also has a daughter with a heart condition. If you go to her blog click on Emma Grace and you can read the story of her daughter.
Reading people's stories and struggles makes me feel so blessed. I live in my nice house with my healthy family with no major problems. I am so thankful for the Lord's grace on me and my family. Please check out Heather's blog and be praying for her and her family.

Splashin' Around

We have really been enjoying the warm weather and going to the pool with the kids the last couple of days. On Weds we found this great pool not to far from our house. We all went after Rob got home from work, then I went back Thursday by myself. We also took the kids Friday night and Saturday. They really had a great time playing in the water and Rob and I had fun playing with them. It makes me so excited for vacation.

Carys loved sitting on the edge and splashing in the water. Then she would crawl out and crawl back in. By Saturday she would just keep crawling not realizing it was getting deeper and she wasn't going to be able to touch.
Broderick turned into a little shark from Weds to Saturday. He was going under water, jumping off the side by himself, trying to swim underwater. He really had the most fun I think.

Lucy Lu

I wanted to post some new pictures of my sister's puppy. Lucy Lu is her name. She is definitely a "diva!" Her collar has her name on it with rhinestones, she gets carried everywhere in my sisters purse and she likes to be cuddled up in a baby blanket. She is a sweet little dog though. Broderick lover her. He told my sister that he would trade Carys for her.
