Snow, snow and more snow!!!

I love to play in the snow. It is a lot of work to get everyone ready and always makes a ton of laundry, but is well worth the effort. I took the kids out a few weeks ago and never posted the pictures so I figured I needed to post some from yesterday. We weren't out very long because it was so cold. Just long enough for me to shovel the driveway. I took Broderick out again today while Carys was napping. It wasn't as cold as yesterday. I wanted to take them sledding tonight, but Rob was really tired when he got home. His teeth were also bothering him. He had his wisdom teeth pulled on Friday and the dentist cracked his crown, so he is not feeling great! It seems to be getting worse instead of better. All that to say...maybe we can go sledding tomorrow. Anyway, here is 1 of 3 pictures I got of the kids yesterday. Not very good, but it is at least documentation of the days events.

Naptime at my house...

has been looking a little bit like this.

I put her in her bed with 2 blankets, and usually 2 stuffed animals or babies. She has somehow been getting things off the floor in her room into her bed. After I took this picture I went in about 10 minutes later and she had her baby highchair in her bed. I have not figured out how she is doing this, but it looks like I am in trouble when we move her to a toddler bed. What do you think?

A fun night away

This past weekend Rob and I took the kids to a hotel with an indoor water park. It was really fun! They had water slides, hot tub, pools, a lazy river, and this really

cool spray area/jungle gym.

It was nice to end the break with a little extra fun!
They also had a time where the kids got to dive in one of the pools for arcade tokens and make cookies with some icing. They really enjoyed that part!
