New York, New York

This is long overdue, but I did want to get some pictures from our trip to NYC on here. We had a wonderful time as mentioned before. Rob's parents and family had a great time with the kids and the kids had a great time as well. We can't wait to do it again!
We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art one day. It was so amazing! There were so many neat things to look at. They had pieces of actual tombs, hundreds of pieces of art, an area set up like a Chinese temple, armor form thousands of years ago. I am very glad we got to do this. I have wanted to go ever since I saw it on project runway.
We walked through a very small part of Central Park and saw this band playing. They weren't very good, but there are bands like this all over the park. It was so peaceful and relaxing in the park.
We took this picture for Broderick. This Darth Vader was made entirely out of Lego's. Pretty amazing. Broderick would have loved all the cool things we saw at the toy stores.
Fourth of July we had a cookout at Rob's brothers. It was a lot of fun! The kids played outside all day and at night we set off fireworks. Broderick and Carys loved going for rides on the tractor and I got a kick out of Rob driving it. Us city people don't always fit in out in the country. Rob has farm roots, but they are way down deep. It is funny to see them come out when we go see his family. We had a great trip and I can't wait to go back.
